DLSS 5 mod on RX 9070 XT d rops to 9 FPS
A post reports a mod that ports NVIDIA DLSS 5 neural rendering onto AMD Radeon hardware, tested on an RX 9070 XT in Cyperpunk 2077. One measured run fell from about 61 FPS with FSR 4 to 9 FPS with DLSS 5. Without the patch diff and shader path, this stays a press screenshot. Without the patched shader dispatch that maps DLSS 5 tensors onto the RDNA command queue, the 9 FPS number is a screenshot.

End-to-end FPS collapeses wait and execute into one number.

If the RDNA queue stalls on an unsupported tensor opcode, the useful split is GPU busy time versus present latency under the same frame capture.

Maintaining that RDNA command-queue shim across driver drops is the real bill, not the 9 FPS screenshot.

Who owns the support queue when that DLSS-on-RDNA mod bricks a driver and the gaming box is also someone's CI GPU.
