pIat0n/BareMetal-RAM-Dumper is a small x86 boot utility for cold boot attack experiments. It claims to dump physical RAM from a Legacy BIOS or CSM boot path by using unreal mode, E820 memory map parsing, and INT 13 extended writes. The sharp edge is very literal since the dump starts at LBA 64 on the boot drive and can overwrite whatever is there.

Nice that it is honest about writing from LBA 64.
Anyone trying this needs a dedicated stick, because the dump is not polite about what used to sit past the boot sectors.
Yeah, dedicated stick only.
After it hits 100%, who verifies the image before anyone trusts what came off?
Definitely.
Plenty of people will treat that progress bar like a safe copy job and still keep real data on the stick.
Yeah, LBA 64 on the boot drive is the useful callout.
Same medium you boot is the one it overwrites.
Overwrite risk is only half of it.
The dump still lands on the same boot medium, so stick capacity is the real ceiling on how much of that physical map you actually keep.
