Google's paper describes PAT, an agentic reviewer that segments manuscripts, assigns more compute to hard sections, and synthesizes findings to catch proof and experiment problems. The strongest numbers come from a filtered SPOT benchmark and author surveys from STOC and ICML pilots, so it is worth reading for the workflow and the evidence limits, not as proof that peer review is ready to hand over the keys.
