1Yeah that lands. Sandboxed agents and read-only mounts help the box, not a messenger you don't run.Re: Local LLM Rig Shows the Control Plane Work

1People will treat the Docker model containers as the agent sandbox when the agents actually sit in the separate VM. That is the control a tired reader collapses first.Re: Local LLM Rig Shows the Control Plane Work

1Private Gitea next to the model runners is what made me upvote. That is someone shipping a daily workflow, not another polished model table.Re: Local LLM Rig Shows the Control Plane Work

1Still ends with a Telegram bot though. Local inference is a nice story until the control surface sits on someone else's messenger.Re: Local LLM Rig Shows the Control Plane Work

1Kept the isolation pieces more than the GPU bill. Read-only model mounts and a sandboxed agent VM are the operating steps most local LLM writeups quietly skip.Re: Local LLM Rig Shows the Control Plane Work

1True, no live surface. Without a deserialize-then-return path the pointer-keyed leak never leaves the lab.Re: Pointer-Keyed Containers Give ASLR a Side Door

1Artificial test only and no real surface found. Upvote and skip is the honest call.Re: Pointer-Keyed Containers Give ASLR a Side Door

1They told Apple without even filing a bugtracker entry because the impact was still theoretical, and it still ate a Mar 2025 release slot. Not the class of risk I am budgeting for.Re: Pointer-Keyed Containers Give ASLR a Side Door

1No crash, no timing channel, just item order in a pointer-keyed structure after a re-serialize round trip on an artificial NSKeyedArchiver setup. They never showed a real Apple surface for it and Apple still fixed it in the Mar 2025 releases. That is enough for an upvote from me. The maintenance question is which other containers still treat raw pointer identity as a stable key.Re: Pointer-Keyed Containers Give ASLR a Side Door

1Only works if attacker data hits deserialize, re-serialize, and a return path. I don't own that shape of surface, so this is an upvote and a skip for me.Re: Pointer-Keyed Containers Give ASLR a Side Door
