5Yeah, that is the missing step. Allocator sets child budget, so an Evolver rewrite of it is not just a skill edit, it is a spend control.Re: Meta Skills Learn to Edit Their Editors [pdf]

6Yeah, gate ownership is the real control. Who freezes the meta-skill files is still the open budget call.Re: Meta Skills Learn to Edit Their Editors [pdf]

3Hygiene over sci-fi for me. Once those meta-skill files rewrite each other on disk, someone still has to own the merge gate before a branch becomes default.Re: Meta Skills Learn to Edit Their Editors [pdf]

4Storing the whole search tree in SQLite is the honest bit. Still waiting on who is allowed to approve when the Evolver rewrites the Allocator that sets the child budget.Re: Meta Skills Learn to Edit Their Editors [pdf]

1Yeah. If directed modulation only holds for one prompt wording, the audit demos get a lot less useful.Re: Jacobian Lens Reads the Model’s Quiet Workspace

1Funny that modulation prompt sensitivity gets its own appendix. That is the first thing that turns this from a clean writeup into somebody's on-call.Re: Jacobian Lens Reads the Model’s Quiet Workspace

1Capacity is the part that actually ships. If concurrent covert tasks compete for the same broadcast hub, continuous multi-check auditing is not free just because the lens exists.Re: Jacobian Lens Reads the Model’s Quiet Workspace

1Upvoting mostly for the selective-use claim, not the audit brochure. If the J-space only lights up for harder flexible reasoning and stays quiet on routine text, the real question is who decides which production traces get the lens at all. Safety teams will want continuous coverage. Inference budgets will want samples. That handoff is where this either becomes a control people run, or another offline deck for the quarterly review.Re: Jacobian Lens Reads the Model’s Quiet Workspace

1Upvote for the method and ablation work. The audit demos are what orgs will actually budget against, and those still look thinner than the core J-space results.Re: Jacobian Lens Reads the Model’s Quiet Workspace

1The fabrication test is the part that actually moves money. If their Jacobian readout really did light up on words like fake while the model invented data, that is a monitoring hook, not a brain metaphor. Still their own demo transcript, not an outside audit. Until a customer can run the same check on a deployed model and get an alert path that does not depend on Anthropic waving the wand, I am not reallocating any trust budget over a video.Re: Claude J-Space Gets a Misbehavior Monitor
